Meet John Hogan
John V. Hogan is a well-known speaker on social security disability, frequently making presentations on a national and statewide basis to such groups as the American Bar Association; the National Organization of Social Security Representatives; the Georgia Institute on Continuing Education; the Federal Bar Association; and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a frequent speaker to various support groups and community organizations.
John V. Hogan represents disability claimants in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia from the initial application through the appeals and administrative hearings process.
Mr. Hogan's professional memberships include: National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (currently serving on the Board of Directors), Federal Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (formerly serving as chair of the social security litigation section).
John V. Hogan has over 25 years of experience in the field of disability law.
He began representing social security claimants while working for the Niagara County (N.Y.) Legal Aid Society and then served three years as an attorney/advisor to the U.S. Administrative Law Judges in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the Atlanta, GA Offices of Hearings and Appeals.
Since 1984, he has successfully represented thousands of clients seeking disability benefits. Admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1978, John V. Hogan is based in suburban Atlanta, but has represented disability claimants from New York to California. He has also represented social security claimants throughout the United States from New York to California, often upon the referral of major LTD carriers.
